Kita Senju Level Crossing
Kita Senju is a major interchange station in Tōkyō's inner north east. 5 Lines meet at this point, namely the JR East Jōban Line, Tōbu Skytree (aka Isesaki) Line, Tsukuba Express and the Tōkyō Metro Chiyoda & Hibiya Lines. Immediately to the south of the station lies 'Ōfumikiri Dori' - big crossing street - where all lines cross. The Tsukuba Express and Hibiya Lines cross this street on a viaduct; the Chiyoda Line is under ground. The Tōbu & JR lines however cross at street level where there is a small strip in between the two independently managed crossings. Both lines are busy, and even on a weekend there is a train passing at least every 2 minutes.

The JR Eas Jōban Line lies at the north end of the crossing. Here an E657 Limited Express unit was seen bringing up the rear of a northbound service while a Hibiya Line 13000 series was headed for Naka Meguro on the flyover.
Tōbu Limited Express Spacia Express set 106 was seen heading northbound while a dual voltage JR East E531 series commuter set was crossing on the Jōban Line. A service vehicles was 'trapped' during the passing of these trains.
A Tōbu 10000 series set seen heading northbound into Kita Senju where it terminated. Tōbu runs the Asakusa - Kita Senju section of the Skytree line as a shuttle service as most of the faster trains run through the Tōkyō Metro Hanzomon Line. Most Limited Expresses start from the Asakusa Terminal station however.
A Tōkyō Metro 8000 series set had just departed southbound with a service bound for the Hanzomon Subway Line. It was operating a Limited Express Stopping pattern service and operated through to Chūō Rinkan on the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line.
