Heisei Chikuhō Railway
The Heisei Chikuhō Railway is a third sector operator in Northern Fukuoka Prefecture of 3 lines which until 1987 were operated by JNR and briefly until 1989 by JR Kyūshū. It operates a 4th line, the Mojikō Retro Kankō Line in the Mojikō area, isolated from the rest of the system.

DMU's 401 & 402 have been re-fitted as a special Dining Experience service, known as the Coto Coto Train. The two car set operating the special was seen arriving at Kanada.The depot and workshops for the railway are adjacent to the station. Kanada is the junction for the Itoda Line towards Tagawa-Gotōji. The Coto Coto operates over the Ita & Tagawa Lines to Yukuhashi.
