Two
classic Meitetsu EMU types at its Inuyama Depot on 27th February 2000.
Left is the 5500 introduced in 1959 with both two- and four-car
versions. It was the first non limited express type to
have air-conditioning. Right is the streamlined 3400. The
3400 started as a two-car unit and was successively lengthened to
three-car and then four-car.The type was finally withdrawn this
year.
